Brock men's cross country places 12th at OUA Championships, women 14th
OTTAWA, Ont. - The Brock University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the 2011 OUA Cross Country Championships this past weekend. The men’s team placed 12th and the women were 14th overall.
For the Brock men, senior Kevin Moore was the top finisher placing 37th in a time of 33:07.0. Finishing second for the Badgers was Andrew White who placed 69th overall in a time of 34:58.8. Rounding out the team scoring were Mike Van Bakel (73rd – 35:18.8), Chris De Vries (82nd – 36:08.6) and Kyler Campeau (83rd – 36:21.7). Also finishing were Alastair Thompson (90th – 37:21.0) and Jon Veens (92nd – 37:25.7).
Leading the Brock women was Brittany Dunbar who placed 71st in a time of 20:44.5. Megan Kiley was the second Badgers finisher placing 75th in a time of 21:05.7. Rounding out the top five were Brianna Cauley (88th – 21:43.4), Stephanie Bowes (91st – 21:46.0) and Jennifer Roberts (97th – 22:10.7). Other Brock finishers were Laurie Taylor (99th - 22:30.1) and Sarah Rasmussen (109th – 25:54.0).
