KINGSTON, Ont. - The Brock University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Queen's Invitational Saturday afternoon. The women's team placed 7th overall with the men finishing in 8th place.
Leading the Brock women in the Fort Henry Hill 5K run was Brittany Dunbar who placed 25th in a time of 18:50.7. Rounding out the Badgers top five were Alyson Schmidt (33rd - 19:30.6), Brianna Cauley (39th - 20:44.0), Natasha Eikelenboom (41st - 20:54.8) and Alessandra Tolot (51st - 22:29.8).
In the men's 10K run, the Brock men were led by Kevin Moore who placed 24th overall in 31:56.7. Mike Van Bakel (40th - 33:58.1), Cass Sica (43rd - 34:12.2), Miles Bason (55th - 36:25.8) and Mike MacKett (59th - 37:30.4) rounded out the Badgers top five.
The Badgers next action is Saturday, October 23rd when they host the Brock Open on campus.
