Women's Wrestling places 4th, Men 10th at CIS Championships
CALGARY, AB - The Brock University wrestling teams capped off their 2009-10 season at the CIS National Championships this weekend. The women placed fourth overall while the men's team was 10th. The two medallists for the Badgers were Jasmine Mian (Barrie, Ont.) (48kg) and Diana Ford (Kentville, NS) (51kg) who both captured silver in their respective weight classes.

CALGARY, AB - Brock University women wrestlers Jasmine Mian (Barrie, Ont.) (48kg) and Diana Ford (Kentville, NS) (51kg) have advanced to the gold medal finals at the 2010 CIS Wrestling Championships. The two other Brock wrestlers that will look to medal in the bronze medal match include Deborah Jehu (Greenbank, Ont.) at 72kg and men's wrestler Spencer Bruch (Stoney Creek, Ont.) at 90kg.

MacDonald captures gold at New York Athletic Club International
Brock University graduate and member of the Brock WC Jessica MacDonald (Windsor, Ont.) captured gold at the New York Athletic Club International Tournament. In the 51 kg weight class she posted a perfect 3-0 record with big victories over Fulp-Allen (USA) (0-2, 2-1, 6-3) in the semi-finals and Hiromi Sakurai (JAPAN) in the finals (2-1, 3-1).
