Dale Melnick enters her second season as the head coach of the Brock women's volleyball team.

In her first season, she led the Badgers to a 10-8 OUA regular season record and the postseason. In April 2012, Melnick was also named an assistant coach with the 19U Team Ontario squad.

In 2011, Melnick returned to coaching after a 12-year hiatus. In the CIS coaching ranks she was the head coach at the University of Western Ontario in 1995-96 and worked as an assistant coach at the University of Guelph from 1996-99. She was also the head coach of the Region 3 Ontario Team in 1995.

As a university student-athlete, Melnick had great success capturing five conference titles. She began her university career at the University of Georgia where she was a member of two Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship teams in 1985 and 1986.

She returned to Canada and played at York University where she was part of the York dynasty in the early 90's capturing three OUA Championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994. She also played professional beach volleyball for 10 years from 1990-99 on both the national and international circuit all while coaching and mentoring high performance athletes.

Melnick holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Guelph and Bachelor of Arts from York University. She also has a Human Resources Certificate from Conestoga College.
