Dale Melnick enters her third season as the head coach of the Brock women's volleyball team.
In her first two seasons, she has led the Badgers to a 15-21 OUA regular season record.
In April 2012, Melnick was also named an assistant coach with the 19U Team Ontario squad.
In 2011, Melnick returned to coaching after a 12-year hiatus. In the CIS coaching ranks she was the head coach at the University of Western Ontario in 1995-96 and worked as an assistant coach at the University of Guelph from 1996-99. She was also the head coach of the Region 3 Ontario Team in 1995.
As a university student-athlete, Melnick had great success capturing five conference titles. She began her university career at the University of Georgia where she was a member of two Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship teams in 1985 and 1986.
She returned to Canada and played at York University where she was part of the York dynasty in the early 90's capturing three OUA Championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994. She also played professional beach volleyball for 10 years from 1990-99 on both the national and international circuit all while coaching and mentoring high performance athletes.
Melnick holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Guelph and Bachelor of Arts from York University. She also has a Human Resources Certificate from Conestoga College.

Kailey Preece enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Brock women's volleyball program.
Preece has been playing and loving volleyball for 13 years. She was on the first Niagara Rapids girls' team, who in their second year won Division 2 gold at Nationals in Sherbrooke, Que.
While playing for Burlington Blaze 18u team at the Penn State tournament in 2007, she was recruited by former Ukrainian national coach, Sasha Gutor, to play at DII's Mount Olive College in North Carolina.
As a starter in her freshman year, she was named to the all-tournament team in her first tournament and finished the year nationally ranked in service aces. Over the course of the next three years she started in all positions, with the exception of libero, finishing as setter where she recorded as many as 61 assists per game.
She has coached both girls' and boys' teams from 12-18u for the Niagara Rapids program and helped to launch and coach the MOVE club in North Carolina, as well as at a volleyball camp in Aviano, Italy in July 2010.
This past season she coached the senior boys at St. Paul High School in Niagara Falls.
Kailey obtained a degree in English Communications from Mount Olive.

Tauri Caputo joins the Brock women's volleyball team as an assistant coach focusing on strength and conditioning.
He has been a volleyball player and coach for 25 years. He played for the regional team in the Ontario Summer Games and has coached several high school teams and athletes to the OFSSA championships.
As a former Brock Badger, martial arts instructor and fitness enthusiast, he brings a wide variety of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the team.
Caputo holds a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Brock University and currently holds a Lecturer position in the Faculty of Business where he teaches courses in the Marketing, International Business and Strategy department.
