THUNDER BAY, Ont. - The Brock University women's volleyball team (4-4 OUA) won for the third time in their last four matches as they swept the Lakehead Thunderwolves by the score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-22) on the road Saturday.
Leading the Badgers offense was senior Erin Mercer (Rockwood, Ont.) who recorded 10 kills and 15 digs for the double-double. Junior Shannon Anderson (Newmarket, Ont.) contributed with six kills and six digs while senior Katelyn Giebrecht (Virgil, Ont.) added five kills in the victory.
