Mercer named OUA Second Team All-Star

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brock University women's volleyball player Erin Mercer (Rockwood, Ont.) has been selected as a 2009-10 OUA West Second Team All-Star.

In her senior season, Mercer put up her best numbers of her career. She was among tops in the OUA in three offensive categories including points (3rd - 278), kills (7th - 207) and blocks (3rd - 57).

She became the first Brock player to record over 200 kills and 200 digs in a single season. Mercer also became a member of the 500 / 500 club finishing her career with 572 kills and 529 digs.
