Women's Volleyball rolls past Ryerson 3-0

TORONTO, Ont. - The Brock University women's volleyball team (6-4 OUA West) ended the first half of the season with a 3-0 sweep over the Ryerson Rams (25-18, 25-17, 25-15). With the two victories this weekend, Brock moves into a three way tie for third place in the OUA West Division.

Junior Katelyn Giesbrecht (Virgil, Ont.) led the Badgers offense with eight kills. Sophomore Shannon Anderson (Newmarket, Ont.) and junior Alex McKee (Whitby, Ont.) contributed with six kills each while junior Heather Potts (Nepean, Ont.) added five kills in the victory.

The Badgers next conference game is scheduled for Jan 9th on the road versus Toronto before returning home for three straight home games against Lakehead (Jan. 11th), Laurier (Jan. 16th) and Waterloo (Jan. 17th).
