ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University women's volleyball
team handled the Windsor Lancers in just over an hour Friday night
at home winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-13 25-20).
The Badgers used a balanced offense led by junior Alex McKee
(Whitby, Ont.) and senior Shauna Peddle (Stoney Creek, Ont.) who
finished with eight and seven kills respectively. Juniors Erin
Mercer (Rockwood, Ont.) and Katelyn Geisbrecht (Virgil, Ont.)
contributed with six kills each in the victory.
Leading the Lancers was senior Brianna Binder who led all scorers
with 15 kills and nine digs.
Brock recorded a season low four offensive hitting errors finishing
the match with an impressive .447 hitting percentage. Windsor hit
just .205 for the match registering 16 offensive errors.
Brock's next action is Saturday, November 1st at 5pm when they host
the Western Mustangs at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.
