Kodors and Peddle named Henley Honda Brock Athletes of the Week

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University Male and Female Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 1st are men's curler Charles Kodors (Brampton, Ont.) and women's volleyball player Shauna Peddle (Stoney Creek, Ont.).

Kodors, a third year Environmental GeoScience major, led the Brock men's curling team to a 3-1 record this past weekend at the OUA East/West Crossover hosted by the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club. The Badgers finished the regular season with a 5-4 overall record earning them a berth into the OUA Championships next weekend in Peterborough.

Peddle, a fourth year English major, led the Brock women's volleyball team to a 2-0 record this past weekend including a big conference win over defending OUA champion McMaster. In two matches, she registered 15 kills, 11 blocks and three aces with an impressive .500 hitting percentage. She currently leads the OUA and is tied for second in the CIS averaging 1.32 blocks per game.
