Getting to Know Your Badgers - Luch Di Paolo

Throughout the spring and summer months we will catch up with many of the Badgers top returning athletes for the 2011-12 season as part of the Getting to Know Your Badgers.

Our latest student-athlete who we had the chance to ask a few questions to was Brock women's soccer goalkeeper Luch Di Paolo.

Why did you decide to come to Brock?

I chose to come to Brock for several reasons, one was because my uncle was a former Brock graduate and thought I would keep the tradition going, and also because the previous year the soccer team had an outstanding season and I wanted to be a part of a strong successful team.

What is one thing that most people don't know about you?

I can't stand the sight, smell, texture, and taste of bananas

Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?

I will only wear white socks to any game or practice, and the left goalie glove will always go on first before the right.

What are you most looking forward to this season?

We have a strong core of players returning and I can't wait to see the girls come together and have a successful season. Hopefully Nationals will be on the agenda this year! And the long bus rides to our away games. 

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

My mom

If you could travel to any place in the world where would you go?

I would love to travel to Europe and more specifically Greece.

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world who would it be?

I would want to have dinner with Hermione Granger, Ellen Degeneres and Gi Gi Buffon
