Womens Soccer Prepares for Host Trinity Western in CIS Championship Game
Langley, B.C. – The Brock University Women’s Soccer
team (12-4-4 overall) will face the No. 6 ranked Trinity Western
Spartans on Sunday at 6:30 pm (eastern time) in Langley, B.C. at
Trinity Western University in the CIS National Championship Game.
The Badgers will look to write a final chapter in their Cinderella
story by defeating the Canada West Finalists on their home
pitch.
Brock is coming off of their second straight upset win defeating
the QSSF Champions and No. 1 ranked team in the nation, the
Montreal Carabins, 2-0 in the National Semi-final on Saturday.
Trinity Western defeated rivals Victoria, in a Canada West Final
rematch, on penalty kicks.
