Brock women's rugby ends season with 17-13 loss to Queen's

KINGSTON, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team dropped a 17-13 decision to the Queen's Gaels in the OUA bronze medal game Saturday afternoon.

For the Badgers, Misha Maric added eight points including one try and a penalty goal. Rookie Hannah Wilson added the other try in the loss.

Despite losing the final two playoffs games to McMaster and Queen's, the Badgers finish the 2011 season with an overall record of 3-5 and fourth place in the OUA. This was the program's best finish since 2005 when they captured their first ever OUA medal defeating Waterloo by the score of 22-10 for the bronze.

Maric, Wilson and Mariko Reilly were all chosen as OUA Sheils Division All-Stars.
