Maric, Monkman, Kovacs named OUA All-Stars
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – Three members of the Brock Badgers women’s rugby team are celebrating as they have been named OUA Sheils Division All-Stars. Misha Maric (Toronto, Ont.), Holly Monkman (Cheltenham, Ont.) and Nicole Kovacs (Welland, Ont.) were named divisional All-Stars yesterday by Ontario University Athletics.

Women's Rugby blanked by No. 2 ranked Gryphons
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team ended the regular season with a 94-0 loss against the No. 2 nationally ranked Guelph Gryphons. Despite the loss, the Badgers finish in third place in the OUA Shiels division with a 2-3 record posting victories over Western and Laurier. Brock will now take on Waterloo in the OUA quarter-finals on October 16th.

Strong second half leads women's rugby past Mustangs 15-10
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team improved to 2-2 on the season as they came from behind to defeat the Western Mustangs by the score of 15-10 at the Brock Rugby Field Saturday afternoon. Brock answered with the final 12 points of the contest.

Women's rugby drops 22-11 decision to Waterloo
WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team (1-2 OUA) dropped a 22-11 decision to the Waterloo Warriors on the road Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Badgers fall to 1-2 on the season with two games remaining against Western and Guelph.

Women's rugby blanks Laurier 37-0
WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock Badgers women's rugby team evened their OUA conference record at 1-1 by defeating the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 37-0 on the road Friday night. In two games this season, Brock has outscored the Golden Hawks 82-0.

Women's Rugby goes 1-1-1 at York Tournament
TORONTO, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team opened the 2010 preseason with a 1-1-1 record at the York University Tournament Sunday. The Badgers rolled past the Laurier Golden Hawks in their opening game by the score of 45-0. In their second game they tied the host York Lions 12-12 and in their final contest of the day dropped a 19-5 decision to the McMaster Marauders.

Hughes named new Brock women's rugby head coach
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brock University Director of Athletics Chris Critelli is pleased to announce Peter Hughes as the new head coach of the Brock women's rugby program. He replaces Dan Valley who left Brock to pursue his master's in coaching.
