Khounviseth enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Brock women's basketball program.
In his first four seasons at the helm, Khounviseth has led the Badgers to a 60-27 OUA regular season record and 83-47 overall record (.638 winning percentage).
Prior to taking over in 2009-10, he worked as the assistant coach under retired coach Chris Critelli for three seasons.
This past season, Khounviseth led the Badgers to an 18-3 regular season record and 22-10 overall record while earning OUA West Coach of the Year honours for the first time.
In 2011-12, Khounviseth led the Badgers to a 15-7 OUA regular season record and a 25-14 overall record. Brock captured the OUA bronze medal knocking off No. 5 ranked Carleton and defeated the No. 3 ranked Saskatchewan Huskies at the CIS Regional Tournament.
In his first season at the helm, Khounviseth led the Badgers to a fourth place finish in the OUA West with a 13-9 conference record and 20-12 overall record. In 2010-11, Brock also finished fourth in the OUA West with a 14-8 conference record.
Over the past three years he has started the Brock Basketball Academy where he is the Director of Basketball Operations. This program is designed to develop elite players in the Niagara Region.
Si was head coach with the Hamilton Transway basketball club for eight years. During that time, he led his teams to three OBA championship titles and one silver medal.
At the high school level, Khounviseth served as an assistant coach with the St. Mary’s Senior Girls team in 2004 who captured an OFSAA ‘AAAA’ silver. He also coached the St. Mary’s Junior Girls to consecutive city championships in 2002 and 2003.
