Results from McMaster competition

The Brock Badgers swimmers, appropriately dressed for the occasion, traveled to McMaster to compete Saturday October 31st. The team had great attitude going into the meet with positive attitudes, and although still tired from training, they were ready to face the competition.

The team raced against OUA rivals Guelph and McMaster, and were excited to see new competition as they competed against McGill University for the first time in recent memory.

The women performed well in the Butterfly events as Lisa McCann finished second in the 200m, Katie So finished fourth, and Ilana Romanow finished fourth in the 50m fly. Victoria Culp was the only Badger to win a race, in the 800m Free; and Cora Michener placed 5th in the same event.

The 4x50m (Holly Hopkins, Delia Caughlin, Erica Dugas, Victoria Culp) and 4x100m (Hopkins, Romanow, So, McCann) Medley Relay teams both finished fifth overall.

The Badgers are still in full training and will compete next at the University of Ottawa November 13th-15th for the Eynon Divisional Championships.
