Women’s Swimming Places 18th at CIS Championships

 The Brock University men's and women's swim teams competed at the 2010 CIS Championships this past weekend in Toronto. The women collected 16 points in total while placing 18th overall.  

The Brock highlights at the Nationals included breaking two more Brock school records. In the Men's 200 Back, Keith van Hemmen (Corunna, Ont.) broke the old record of 2:06.19 held by Tyler Clair from 1990- 91 finishing in a time of 2:05.97. 

In the Women's 4x200 Free Relay, the team of Baylee Colquhoun (Newmarket, Ont.), Victoria Culp (Vineland, Ont.), Cora Michener (Toronto, Ont.) and Ilana Romanow (Cambridge, Ont.) broke the old record from the CIS Championships last year finishing in a time of 8:36.73.
