Brock Athletes Medal at National Rowing Championships
LONDON, Ont. - Brock was very well represented at the National Rowing Championships in London Ontario November 6th and 7th. A total of 15 Brock athletes were invited to represent their home provinces at the championships three for New Brunswick and 12 for Ontario.
In the under 23 men’s pair Mike Lewis of Dorchester and Clark Tyler of Mississauga placed second for Ontario while Keegan Drummond of Quispamsis and Mike Flynn also of Quispamsis placed third for New Brunswick.
In the under 23 lightweight men’s pair Ben Cushnie from Brock teamed up with his brother Jake both of Welland for a second place finish.
Travis King of Grimsby who is proving to be a quick study in sculling placed second in the under 23 lightweight men’s single.
Kate Nay of St. Catharines placed just out of
the medals in fourth for the under 23 lightweight women’s
single.
