Men's and Women's Rowing captures silver at OUA Championships
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - In one of the most exciting finishes in OUA rowing the Western Mustangs men's and women's teams edged out the Brock Badgers in the final events of the day to capture both team championships.
The Badger men's and women's crews captured 11 medals in total including three gold, four silver and four bronze.
On the women's side, the Brock lightweight 8 and lightweight 4 both captured golds. The heavyweight 8 and lightweight 2X brought home silver while the lightweight single won a bronze medal.
For the Brock men, the lightweight 4 had a gold medal performance. Capturing silver were the heavyweight 8 and the lightweight single. Rounding out the medals for the Badgers were the lightweight 8, heavyweight 4 and lightweight 2X with all three placing third for bronze.
