Badgers Lewis and Woelfl show strong at World Rowing Under 23 Championships
BELARUS - Brock University rowers Mike Lewis (Dorchester, Ont.) and Eric Woelfl (St. Catharines, Ont.) both competed at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships this weekend in Brest, Belarus.

Brock Rowers finish in Top 8 at Royal Henley Regatta
ENGLAND - The Brock University men's rowing heavweight crew finished among the Top 8 crews in the world at the prestigious Royal Henley Regatta. The Badgers captured their first two races against crews from Netherlands and USA before losing by less than a boat length in the quarter-finals against Queen's University of Belfast.

ENGLAND - The Brock University Mens Rowing heavyweight 8+ celebrated Canada Day in style at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta as they defeated Grand Valley State University of Michigan in a time of 7:06 advancing them to the quarter final round Friday.

Brock rowing wins three races at prestigious Dad Vail Regatta
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Brock University men's and women's rowing team capped off the 2009-10 season with three gold medal performances at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta Saturday winning the Women's Varsity Pair, the Women's Varsity Lightweight 4 (ROBERT ESPESETH TROPHY) and the Men's Varsity Heavyweight 8 (RICHARD O'BRIEN TROPHY).

Brock Athletes Medal at National Rowing Championships
LONDON, Ont. - Brock was very well represented at the National Rowing Championships in London Ontario November 6th and 7th. A total of 15 Brock athletes were invited to represent their home provinces at the championships three for New Brunswick and 12 for Ontario.

Brock rowers show strong at Head of the Charles
Brock Rowing had a great weekend at the worlds largest two day regatta. The Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston MA is an international event attracting over 7500 competitors from around the world. Brock was the top Canadian crew in all three events they raced. This was in spite of some of the worst weather ever seen at the regatta. The day started with rain but all the crews raced in a snow storm making it very uncomfortable and challenging especially for the coxswains to stay warm enough to function.

Brock Rowers shine at Royal Canadian Henley Regatta
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University rowing team was well represented at the 127th Annual Royal Canadian Henley Regatta as __ Badger athletes combined for 40 gold medals. Since the "Henley" settled in St. Catharines in 1903, it has grown to become the largest of its kind in North America. In 2008, over 2,800 men and women from over 150 rowing clubs competed for Henley Gold.
