Strong Weekend for Men’s Squash at Canadian University Championships

This past weekend two members of the Men’s Squash team competed in the Canadian University and College Championships hosted by the University of Toronto. This marked the final competition of the year for Brock Squash.

Second year player Ben Abraham finished 2nd in the Men’s A division, losing out to Thomas Jackson of the University of Saskatchewan in a very hard fought 3-1 match in the finals. Abraham also won 3-0 against Toronto and 3-1 against UBC. Abraham looks to build on this result next season.

Graduating fourth year player Andy Roberts finished in 5th place in the Men’s A division, winning the consolation draw. Roberts’ sole loss came in the quarterfinals to Jackson by the same 3-1 margin. His other wins came by 3-0 scores against opponents from Waterloo and Toronto.
