Men's Soccer falls to Windsor 2-0
WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock University men's soccer team (1-4-1 OUA) lost for the fourth time in their last five games dropping a 2-0 decision to the Windsor Lancers Sunday afternoon.
The Lancers controlled the majority of the play outshooting the Badgers 8-1 in the contest.
The Badgers went into the half tied 0-0, before the Lancers would strike early into the second half with back-to-back goals less than 30 seconds apart. Darrin Dielenans would open the scoring at 46:04 beating Brock netminder Judon Gregory (Mississauga, Ont.) for his first of the season and the eventual game-winner. Ryan Wise would at his team leading third goal of the campaign burying a shot behind Gregory at 46:30 to give the Lancers a 2-0 lead.
Brock would not test Windsor netminder Dan Mendonca who recorded one save for his first shutout of the season.
