Nipissing downs Badgers 2-0 in Exhibition

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to the visiting Nipissing Lakers in exhibition action Friday afternoon.

Nipissing had a number of key scoring opportunties in the final 45 minutes. Early into the second half the Lakers got a goal called back on an offside call.

At the 65 minute mark Nipissing second year forward Tom Duncan (Lindsay, Ont.) opened the scoring as he drilled a shot into the top right hand corner past Brock freshman netminder Dylan Finns. 10 minutes later, Duncan added his second of the afternoon burying a shot into the bottom right hand corner.

The Badgers play host to Laurentian Saturday afternoon at 1pm.
