Josh Connor enters his first season as the new Brock men's rugby head coach.

Connor grew up in Whitby, Ont. where he played for the Ajax Wanderers Rugby Football Club. In 1996 he began his representative rugby career with the U-16 Ontario Team. He played for the U-18 rugby team in 1997 winning a gold medal in the Eastern Canadian Championships and a silver medal in 1998 and the Canadian Championships. In 1999 he was selected to the U-19 Canadian team that traveled to the FIRA World Cup in France and played on the U-21 Ontario team that won a silver medal at the Canadian Championships. He was also selected to compete at the U-21 Canadian Rugby Academy in Kingston, Ontario in 2001. From 2001-2005 he was a member of the Trent University team being named an OUAA All-Star in 2002 and 2004.

After his university playing career he began his coaching career at Orchard Park Secondary School. Since 2006 he has helped coach Orchard Park to 4 winning records, a second place finnish at the 2009 Red Hot Invitational and Consolation Championship at the 2009 OFSSA Rugby Championship.

In 2008 he joined the Brock Badgers Mens Rugby Program as an Assistant Coach where he helped lead the Badgers to an OUA Bronze Medal. Last year he took over from former Head Coach Les Gilson and became the Interim Head Coach. .
