Badgers Mundy to represent Team Canada at Junior World Rugby Trophy
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brock University men’s rugby player Dylan Mundy (Sutton, Ont.) has been selected to the Under-20 Team Canada squad that will compete at the Junior World Rugby Trophy in Tibilisi, Georgia.

Connor named new Brock Men's Rugby Head Coach
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce Josh Connor as the new men's rugby head coach for 2011. He took over as the interim head coach midway through the 2010 season, replacing Les Gilson, the all-time winningest coach in the program's history, who took a job with Rugby Canada.

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock Badgers men’s rugby team has been honoured with four players earn OUA All-Star recognition. After a 5-2-1 regular and a loss in the OUA semi-finals, veterans Sam Rimmer (Cheltenham, Ont.), Mike Berry (Brockville, Ont.) and Mike Lambert (Goderich, Ont.) as well as rookie Ben Thompson (Whitby, Ont.) were all named OUA All-Stars.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont.- The Brock University men's rugby team defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 29-10 in the OUA Quarter-Finals Saturday afternoon. The No. 4 ranked Badgers now advance to the OUA Semi-Finals where they will go up against the undefeated Western Mustangs.

Gilson steps down as Men's Rugby head coach, joins Rugby Canada
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brock Badgers men’s rugby coach Les Gilson, will be leaving his post with the Badgers to take a position with Rugby Canada. Gilson will join Rugby Canada in the role of manager of High Performance after spending eight seasons with the Badgers including guiding the team to a 2007-08 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) championship and three OUA bronze medals.

Former Badger Barkwill selected to Perth XV squad in Australia
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Former Brock men’s rugby player Ray Barkwill (Niagara Falls, Ont.) has enjoyed his first three months in Australia. This week, Barkwill was selected to the A Perth XV squad that will be taking on teams from Victoria and South Australia in the Southern State Championships to be held in Adelaide from September 30 to October 4.

Training Camp – training camp will open early this year. Due to Labour Day being later this year, the season will be compact and full of games. The finals are schedule for Nov 6th, which means we have 9 regular season games and two playoff game to fit in over the course of 8 weeks.
