Men's Rugby down Waterloo 34-17, advances to OUA Semi-Finals.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team advanced to the OUA Semi-Finals as they defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 34-17 Saturday afternoon at home.

Leading the way for the Badgers Matt Alexander who broke open twice in the second half for two trys. JT Rowbotham, Matt McIlvany, Mark MacSween, and Eric Inward all contributed with single trys while Rory McDonell added two converts to round out the Brock scoring.

The remaining four teams in the hunt for the OUA title include Queen's, Western, Brock and McMaster. Next Saturday, November 7th the first place Queen's Gaels will host the fourth place McMaster Marauders while the third place Brock Badgers will travel to London to took on the second place Western Mustangs.

The two semi-final winners will play in the OUA Gold Medal game at Fletcher's Field in Markham on November 14th at 2pm while the two losers wil battle for OUA bronze at noon.
