Men's Rugby blanks Varsity Blues 78-0

TORONTO, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team (6-2 OUA) blanked the University of Toronto Varsity Blues by the score of 78-0 Saturday afternoon on the road. With the victory the Badgers finish in third place in the OUA and will host Waterloo in the OUA quarter-finals.

Leading the Badgers offense was Rory McDonell who recorded 23 points including a season high 10 converts. He finishes the regular season second in OUA scoring with 74 points.

Connor Fitzsimmons and Hugh McDonell both recorded two trys each. Christopher Lewis, Ryan Macsween, Patrick Miltenburg, Jordan Prentice, Samuel Rimmer, Brad Van Der Enden and Matt McIlvany all chipped in with one try each in the victory.
