Men's Rugby knocks off McMaster 34-13

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team (3-1 OUA) captured their third straight victory as they knocked off the McMaster Marauders by the score of 34-13 Saturday afternoon on the road. The Badgers now sit in third place in conference standings behind Queen's and Western.

Leading the Badgers offense was third year Rory Mcdonell (Brantford, Ont.) who led all scorers with 14 points including four converrts and two penalty goals. The 2008 OUA leading scorer, now sits in second spot in OUA scoring with 38 points.

Adding single trys in the victory were Ryan Macsween (Scarborough, Ont.), Hugh Mcdonell (Brantford, Ont.), Patrick Miltenburg (Mafeking, Ont.) and Samuel Rimmer (Cheltenham, England).

The Badgers next action is October 9th versus Waterloo on the road before returning home for their final two games versus Laurier and Queen's.
