Men's Rugby blanks Waterloo 24-0
WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team (4-1 OUA) defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 24-0 for their fourth consecutive victory Friday afternoon on the road.
Adding to his team lead in points was third year Rory McDonell (Brantford, Ont.) who recorded eight points including three converts and two penalty goals to lead all scorers.
Matt Alexander (Oshawa, Ont.), Tom Clancy (Lindsay, Ont.) and Dale Fitzgerald (Richmond Hill, Ont.) all chipped in with one try each in the victory.
The Badgers have two home games remaining in the regular season versus the Laurier Golden Hawks on October 14th and the first place Queen's Golden Gaels on October 18th.
