Men's Lacrosse rolls past Golden Hawks 17-8
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team rolled past the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 17-8 at home Saturday afternoon. With the victory the Badgers clinch first place in the West Division.
Leading the Badgers offense was the duo of Chris Nash (Toronto, Ont.) and Mike McLeod (Owen Sound, Ont.) who combined for 14 points. Nash added five goals and three assists for an eight-point performance while McLeod collected four goals and two helpers for six points.
Devin Sartor (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.) (3A), Todd Duncan (Toronto, Ont.) (2G, 1A) and Mark Farthing (Peterborough, Ont.) (1G, 2A) all contributed with three points each in the victory.
In goal rookie standout Brett Kikot (Toronto, Ont.) remained undefeated as he recorded 10 saves for the victory.
The Badgers end the regular season tomorrow
Sunday, October 25th at 1pm when they play host to the defending
CUFLA Champion Guelph Gryphons.
