Balanced offense leads Badgers over Marauders 12-5

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team (7-0 CUFLA) remained unbeaten in 2009 as they rolled past the McMaster Marauders by the score of 12-5 Wednesday night on the road.

The Badgers had four multiple point performances led by Chris Nash (Toronto, Ont) who led all scorers with five points adding three goals and two assists.  Jordan Weedmark (Carleton Place, Ont.) contributed with three goals and one helper while Dustin Dunn (Peterborough, Ont.) and Mike MacLeod (Owen Sound, Ont.) both chipped in with three goals each.

In goal, rookie Brett Kikot (Toronto, Ont.) registered his sixth victory in as many starts.

The Badgers next action is Sunday, October 18th when they travel to London to take on the Western Mustangs. The Badgers will end the CUFLA regular season next weekend at home when they battle Laurier and the defending National Champion Guelph Gryphons.
