Brock men's hockey opens OUA playoffs versus Waterloo

The Brock University men's hockey team (13-14-1 OUA West) will open the 2012 OUA playoffs against the Waterloo Warriors (15-9-4) Thursday night on the road in the best 2-out-of-3 series. Game 2 is schedule for Friday night at the Seymour-Hannah Centre and Game 3 if necessary is in Waterloo Sunday.

vs WATERLOO: This is the fourth meeting this season between Brock and Waterloo. The Badgers won the regular season series 2-1 with two home victories at the Seymour-Hannah Centre on October 28th (5-2) and January 25th (4-2). In the Inaugural OUA Outdoor Classic on January 22nd the Badgers dropped a 3-1 decision to Waterloo.

IN THE STANDINGS: The Badgers ended the 2011-12 regular season in 6th place in the OUA West with a 13-14-1 record. Waterloo captured 3rd place in the OUA West with a 15-9-4 record.
