Brock mourns the loss of student-athlete Vince Scott
Vince Scott passed away suddenly on April 28,
2010.
He was a second year Bachelor of Business Administration student
and a member of the Brock Badger’s Men’s Hockey
Team.
Vince was in his first year with the Badgers after transferring from UPEI. He made an immediate positive impact with the Badgers hockey team, university and the Niagara community. He was the team's points leader for the 2009-10 season and was selected team MVP by his peers.
He enthusiastically interacted with
participants of the Brock University hockey schools, "Little
Badgers on Blades" and numerous other community outreach
initiatives.
"Vinny had an engaging personality. Our conversations would
start with hockey but seemed to evolve into a discussion of our
families. I will always remember his wit and welcoming
smile", said Brock hockey coach Murray Nystrom.
The Brock Community offers it sincerest

will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him.
