Men's Hockey drops 4-0 decision to No. 10 Waterloo
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's hockey team (9-15-1 OUA) dropped a 4-0 decision to the no. 10 ranked Waterloo Warriors Friday night at the Columbia Ice Field. This was the Badgers seventh loss in their last eight games.
Brock once again got off to a slow start in the first period, as Waterloo answered three times in the first ten minutes with goals from Jarrett Schnurr, Kurt Thorner and Mart Hartman.
Waterloo's Shane Hart would make it 4-0 adding a power-play goal 2:32 into the second period.
Brock netminder Jordan Bent recorded 36 saves in the loss. Waterloo's Keaton Hartigan registered 19 saves for the shutout.
The Badgers next action is February, 6th at 7:30 pm when they travel back to Waterloo to take on the Warriors.
