Brock women's golf places 3rd at Waterloo Invitational, Men 6th
WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock University men's and women's golf
teams competed at the Waterloo Invitational this past weekend with
the women placing third overall and the men sixth.
Leading the Brock women was Amy Mikula who finished fifth overall
with a two-day total of 170 (82-88). Kristine Littlefield finished
tied for ninth overall with a score of 177 (95-82). Rounding out
the Badgers top four were Lisa Romanin (19th - 99+92=191) and
Kristi Demeester (T 23rd - 95+104=199).
The top three women's team finishers were Waterloo (1st - 516),
Toronto (2nd - 520) and Brock (3rd - 534) .
For the Brock men, Miles Thompson placed eighth overall with a
two-round total of 150 (75-75). Brett Mitchell finished in 11th
place with a score of 155 (77-78). Rounding out the top four were
Kari Rikkonen (81+76=157) and Jack Gibson (80+84=164).
The top three women's team finishers were Waterloo (1st - 590),
Guelph (2nd - 608) and Western (3rd - 620). Brock finished in sixth
with a two day total of 626.
