Stefan Strecker

Title: Pitching Coach
Year: 4th Season

Strecker enters his fourth year as the Badgers pitching coach. 

He pitched with the team for six years from 1998-2003, and was awarded the team’s MVP and Top Pitcher Award in 2001, as well as the team’s Scholastic Award for the highest academic average in  2000 and 2003. In 2006, Strecker was inducted into the Brock Baseball Hall of Fame, and ranks third all-time in innings pitched (171.1) and strikeouts (136), while being tied for fifth in wins with 14.

Strecker currently pitches for the Brantford Red Sox in the Intercounty Baseball League, where in 2009 helped lead the Sox to their third IBL Title, being named Playoff MVP, while also being named the league’s Top Right Handed Pitcher and a First Team All-Star 

Strecker also played for Team Canada during the inaugural year for the World University Baseball Championships in Italy.

On the coaching side he has helped out with Team Ontario, working with their pitchers.  And also coaches High school football, hockey and baseball.
