Shaun Valeriote - The Road to the Show
The Toronto Blue Jays select Valeriote, Shaun, we'd like him listed as a third baseman. He's from Brock University, hometown Guelph, Ontario, Canada. And with that Canadian baseball history was made, as Shaun Valeriote became the first OUA player to ever be drafted by a MLB team.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brock University baseball player Shaun Valeriote has been selected in the 2012 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays with their 39th round pick, 1195 overall. He becomes the first player to be drafted out of the OUA.

Quick comes to Brock from the Tecumseh Thunder organization, where he was part of the 2010 Midget National Championship team.
