Brock Baseball adds Quick to strong rookie class
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team continues to reload with young talent as 18-year old catcher Koddi Quick (Leamington, Ont.) has committed to the program. Quick comes to Brock from the Tecumseh Thunder organization, where he was part of the 2010 Midget National Championship team.

Brock defeats OUA All-Stars 11-8 at Rogers Centre
TORONTO, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team came from behind to defeat the Ontario University Athletics All-Stars by the score of 11-8 at the 2011 OUA All-Star Game held at the Rogers Centre on Mother’s Day.

Anderi Looks to Break Out in Year 2
Freshman Badger Chris Anderi is using the momentum generated in his first season with the team in his hopes to make the starting lineup in 2011. Anderi had a successful season, batting .324 and scoring twelve runs for the team on twelve hits.

Robinson Looks to Grow his Game
After an impressive first season with the Badgers, right handed starter Kurtis Robinson is looking forward to becoming a more dominant pitcher in OUA baseball. Kurtis' first season will be a tough act to follow after finishing the season with a 1.70 ERA in eleven appearances, and setting the Badgers’ single season strikeout record with 52 K’s.

WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team have advanced to the CIBA National Championship Final as they defeated the Concordia Stingers by the score of 3-0 Sunday morning. The Badgers will take on the McGill Redmen who knocked off the No. 1 ranked Durham Lords in the other semi-final.

WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock University baseball ended the 2010 season with a 12-9 loss to the McGill Redmen in the National Championship game Sunday afternoon in Windsor. The Badgers finish the season with an impressive 26-12 overall record including their third OUA Championship.

Men's baseball earns first win at CIBA National Championships
WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock Badgers men's baseball team improved their record to 1-1 in the preliminary round of the CIBA National Championships defeating Concordia 3-1. Starting pitcher Kurtis Robinson went the distance, throwing a one-hitter to earn the victory on the mound.

Baseball wins convincingly over Cape Breton at the National Championships
WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock Badgers baseball team earned their second win of the day in convincing fashion after defeating the Cape Breton Capers 11-0 Saturday afternoon. With the win the Badgers finish the preliminary round with a 2-1 record.

Baseball opens Nationals with 8-5 loss to Durham
WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team opened the 2010 CIBA National Championships with an 8-5 loss against the Ontario Conference Champion Durham College Lords. This was the third time in three contests this season that Durham defeated the Badgers.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (23-10 overall, 10-4 OUA) swept their doubleheader against the Team Ontario Under 18 squad Sunday afternoon at Community Park winning by scores of 15-1 and 10-0.

Baseball captures OUA Championship with 5-1 victory over Western
LONDON, Ont. – The Brock University baseball team captured their third Ontario University Athletics Championship in school history after defeating first place Western Mustangs by the score of 5-1 at Labatt Park Saturday afternoon. This is the Badgers first OUA title since 2004 and 20th victory of the season.

Baseball advances to OUA Championship Final with 4-3 win over Toronto
LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team scored the game winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to defeat the University of Toronto Varsity Blues by the score of 4-3 in the OUA Semi-Finals Friday night on the road. The Badgers will now face the host Western Mustangs on October 9th at 1pm at Labatt Park for the OUA Championship.

Baseball sweeps Warriors to end OUA regular season
ST. CATHARINES, ONT. – In Saturday’s action at Community Park, the Badgers took on the Waterloo Warriors in a doubleheader where both games were crucial to the OUA playoff picture. The Badgers swept the Warriors by matching 7-6 scores. The sweep, matched with a University of Toronto loss on Saturday, put the Badgers into a first place tie.

On October 1st the Badgers will join forces with former Badgers head coach Mike McRae and his Canisuis Golden Griffins for a game at Oaks Park in Niagara Falls that will help raise donations and awareness for Project SHARE. Admission to both games are free, as fans are asked instead to bring a food donation for Project SHARE.

Baseball ends preseason with 7-1 record
WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team closed out the preseason with their final two games of the Laurier Invitational Tournament, which had to be adjusted due to poor weather. In their first game they dropped a 5-4 decision to the Intercounty Terriers before going on to defeat the host Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 6-2.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team dominated in their first exhibition games against an OUA opponent at Community Park Tuesday night. WATERLOO, Ont. - When Laurier Baseball Head Coach Scott Ballantyne saw the 2010 OUA Baseball schedule had been reduced by four games from 18 games to a 14 game schedule, he was not discouraged. The reduction laid the groundwork for the Inaugural 2010 Laurier Baseball Invitational Tournament.

Royal Flush - Badgers add two from AAA Brampton
Brock Baseball have landed two new recruits from the Brampton Royals AAA Baseball Club. Justin Ayles and Nick Anton, both 18 years old, will be beginning their Badgers careers in the fall of 2010. Justin will be entering work towards earning a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, and will be playing pitcher and shortstop, although he can play everywhere but behind the plate. Nick Anton will be entering Business Administration while playing at the corners and occasionally stepping onto the mound.

Rebounding Champ looks to lead by example in 2010
Jason Champ (London, Ont.) did not have an acceptable 2009 campaign by his standards. In his first season with the Badgers, Champ allowed 24 runs (8 earned) through 20.1 innings pitched with a 3.55 ERA.
