Baseball splits doubleheader with Varsity Blues
TORONTO, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team split their doubleheader against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Saturday afternoon winning Game One 16-7 and dropping Game Two by the score of 7-1.

Mike Tucker - Where Are they Now?
This month, we catch up with former Brock Baseball General Manager Mike Tucker. After working with the Badgers for three years Mike moved on, and is currently working as Communications Officer with the University of Victoria Vikes.

Royal Flush - Badgers add two from AAA Brampton
Brock Baseball have landed two new recruits from the Brampton Royals AAA Baseball Club. Justin Ayles and Nick Anton, both 18 years old, will be beginning their Badgers careers in the fall of 2010. Justin will be entering work towards earning a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, and will be playing pitcher and shortstop, although he can play everywhere but behind the plate. Nick Anton will be entering Business Administration while playing at the corners and occasionally stepping onto the mound.

Rebounding Champ looks to lead by example in 2010
Jason Champ (London, Ont.) did not have an acceptable 2009 campaign by his standards. In his first season with the Badgers, Champ allowed 24 runs (8 earned) through 20.1 innings pitched with a 3.55 ERA.

Badgers Recruit Right-Handed Hurler Tyler Harrison
Badgers Baseball has recruited Tyler Harrison, a right-handed pitcher from Mississauga coming out of the Ontario Blue Jays program. Tyler will be turning eighteen on June 24th, and will be studying Sport Management while at Brock. Considered a valuable prospect by the Badgers club, Tyler is able to play on the mound as well as at first base.

Possibilities Are Endless for a Healthy Peragine Next Season
This week, we sit down with second-year Badger Mitch Peragine as he takes time out of his busy course load to talk Brock Badgers baseball with us. Peragine, a Business Administration Co-op major from Hamilton, Ontario, won the teams Top Hitter Award for this past season, on top of being selected as an OUA first-team All-Star. Even in the wake of such a successful first season with the Badgers, Mitch remains humble.

LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (9-9 OUA) lost for the seventh time in their past nine games as they dropped a 9-2 decision to the Western Mustangs Thursday night on the road. With the loss the Badgers miss the OUA playoffs for the first time in school history.

LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (9-8 OUA) dropped a 3-0 decision to the first place Western Mustangs on the road Tuesday night. The game was called after five innings due to rain. Game Two of the doubleheader has been moved to Wednesday night in London, a game in which Brock has to win to capture a playoff berth.

Baseball splits with Golden Hawks in season homeopener
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (3-2 OUA, 4-3 Overall) split with the Laurier Golden Hawks in their season homeopener Wednesday night at Community Park. In Game One, the Badgers scored three in the bottom of the sixth to secure the 3-1 victory. In Game Two, Laurier took an early 3-0 lead and never looked back on route to the 7-3 victory.

Baseball splits with defending OUA Champion Marauders
HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (2-1 OUA, 3-2 overall) split with the defending OUA Champion McMaster Marauders for the second time in less than a week Sunday afternoon at Bernie Arbour Stadium.
In Game One, the Badger came from behind for the second straight game to defeat McMaster by the score of 7-6. In Game two the Marauders answered with five runs in the fifth on route to a 7-1 victory.
