Gregory and Nash named Henley Honda Brock Athletes of the Week

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Brock University Henley Honda Male and Female Athletes of the Week for the week ending October 4th are women’s rower Rebecca Gregory (Brampton, Ont.) and men’s lacrosse player Chris Nash (Toronto, Ont.).

Nash, a third year history major, led the Brock men’s lacrosse team to two victories over the Laurentian Voyageurs this past weekend. In two games Nash recorded 16 points adding eight goals and eight assists. In the Badgers 18-5 victory, he registered a career-high 10 points with four goals and six helpers. He currently ranks second in CUFLA National scoring with 25 points.

Gregory, a fifth year education major, helped lead the Brock women’s rowing team to a strong performance at the Head of the Trent. She was part of the women’s lightweight four that captured gold. Gregory also had a silver medal performance in the women’s lightweight single.
