Williams and Fast named Brock Athletes of the Week

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University Male and Female Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 30th are men's basketball player Michael Williams (Brampton, Ont.) and women's volleyball player Ally Fast (St. Catharines, Ont.).

Williams, a third year General Arts student, had a career game against Eckerd College at the University of Tampa Classic registering a career high 26 points, which included going an impressive 8-for-14 from beyond the arc. This ranks among one of the top single game three-point shooting performances in school history. 

Fast, a fifth year Kinesiology major, helped lead the Brock women's volleyball team to a 2-1 record with victories over the No. 3 ranked St. Mary's Huskies and Sherbrooke Vert et Or at the National Invitational Tournament hosted by the University of Toronto. In three matches, Fast recorded 128 assists and 28 digs averaging 10.67 APG and 2.33 DPG. For her performance she was named to the All-Tournament Team.
